I received this book as a review copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. A big thank you goes here to Hachette Australia.
Charlie didn't think Nick could ever like him back, but now they're officially boyfriends. Charlie's beginning to feel ready to say those three little words: I love you.
Nick's been feeling the same, but he's got a lot on his mind - not least coming out to his dad, and the fact that Charlie might have an eating disorder.
As summer turns to autumn and a new school year begins, Charlie and Nick are about to learn a lot about what love means.

The cover of ʜᴇᴀʀᴛsᴛᴏᴘᴘᴇʀ - ᴠᴏʟᴜᴍᴇ 4 by Alice Oseman is absolutely beautiful and blends in perfectly with the first three books in this series. I'm more than a little bit in love with those pastel colours and the general design of this cover is simply beautiful.
This Graphic Novel picks up straight where volume 3 left off. And just as the precious books, Volume 4 works through some really heavy, tough topics while it still is a heartwarming and eye-opening story with unexpected twists in the plot. The illustrations are as beautiful as ever and the dialogues are actually amazing for a Graphic novel! While making your way through this Graphic Novel, you will realize that there is a very emotional and important message contained: Mental illnesses often cannot be seen. Keep your eyes open and be there for the people around you.
When it comes to the characters, you will notice that they are working through their very own everyday issues. Nick and Charlie as as sweet as they've always been and I also love just how much Nick's mum gets involved in a positive way and helps where she can.
Hᴇᴀʀᴛsᴛᴏᴘᴘᴇʀ - ᴠᴏʟᴜᴍᴇ 4 by Alice Oseman has been an absolute highlight to read. It showcases the daily hardships of the wonderful characters in a really heartfelt way and I can't recommend this series enough to all you lovely readers!
