These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan features an absolutely incredible cover that promises a fantastic and captivating story. I love all the details in the design and it became a quick favourite of mine, for sure!
The author’s writing style has been gripping, emotional and detailed enough to understand the world of the fae. What caught me completely off guard have been the very well placed and utterly unexpected plot twists. I had quite a few ‘What the heck is happening’ moments while reading this book.
Considering that this is a YA book, the level of spicy scenes suits the story well and most definitely gets the reader’s imagination going. And even though I’m not much of a love triangle fan, this one pulled me in all the way.
The characters quickly made their way into my heart and emotionally kept me on my toes throughout the whole book.
Brie - the protagonist - showcases an incredibly courageous, strong-willed, loving and loyal personality. But she can also be a bit reckless, distrustful and impulsive at times. She is absolutely perfect for this story.
All up, this book has my heart! It not only has a stunning cover, it also hides a masterpiece of a story behind said cover. Tʜᴇsᴇ ʜᴏʟʟᴏᴡ ᴠᴏᴡs by Lexi Ryan is filled to the brim with an alluring fantasy setting, lots of betrayal and surprises, as well as a captivating and toe curling romance!
Now I don’t have any idea how to survive the long wait until book 2 is getting published. I need to get my hands on it asap!!
