ADVERTISEMENT {REVIEW}

I received this book as a review copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. A big thank you goes here to Pan Macmillan Australia.

There's a Zoo in your Poo!

It needs a Zookeeper

And that Keeper is YOU!

Did you know that trillions of tiny bugs live in and on all of us? And there's a Zoo of bugs in our poo. But which are the good bugs and which are the bad? What should we eat to keep our good bugs happy and our body strong?

Get to the guts of what you need to know about you and your poo.

First of all, we had quite some giggles here when we saw the title, as you can probably imagine. Though the cover is quite adorable and Rob Craw really has outdone himself with the illustrations throughout the book.

The whole thing is a highly informative book with kid-friendly explanations as to what to eat and what no to eat. It's definitely a great start to get the little ones to understand the importance of healthy nutrition. Both, little Miss C and DJ have really enjoyed reading this book multiple times. The writing style is easy to understand and follow, which is why this is also suitable for young readers.

At the back of this book, there are some great recipes with funny names. We already tried some of them and the little raccoons had the best time working their way through the recipes and devouring the food afterwards.

We can highly recommend ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ'ꜱ ᴀ ᴢᴏᴏ ɪɴ ᴍʏ ᴘᴏᴏ. It has been an absolute highlight for the whole family and the little raccoons are already looking forward to trying out the next recipe. Though beware, you might get some comments like "I'm farting, that means my gut' s healthy!!"
