I received this book as a review copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. A big thank you goes here to Scholastic Australia.

The Bradley family are constantly escaping from a centuries-old curse which means that every home they ever live in is destroyed by a typhoon or flash flood that affects no other houses on the street, or they are chased out of town by a flock of persistent birds. They have just moved to their thirteenth house and Noah wants this one to work outhes got some good friends at school and desperately wants himself and his deaf brother Billy to put down roots. But the curse returnsso he must find a way to break it.

The cover of ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʜɪʀᴛᴇᴇɴᴛʜ ʜᴏᴍᴇ ᴏꜰ ɴᴏᴀʜ ʙʀᴀᴅʟᴇʏ by Amber Lee Dodd is quite cute and since green is little DJ's favourite colour, he adores it.

Amber Lee Dodd's writing style can only be described as suspenseful, magical, and full of surprises. The plot has been very well thought through and man, those unexpected plot twists really caught DJ off-guard. He definitely didn't see any of them coming and he had a lot of fun reading this story.

Another big part he enjoyed have been the characters. He was really impressed by their growth throughout their journey, moving from home to home. DJ also loved how the brothers turned their relationship around a bit and Joe greatly they looked out for each other.

In conclusion, ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʜɪʀᴛᴇᴇɴᴛʜ ʜᴏᴍᴇ ᴏꜰ ɴᴏᴀʜ ʙʀᴀᴅʟᴇʏ by Amber Lee Dodd is an easy to read, middle-grade read. Though in saying that, it is not only suitable for young readers but for every age, really. This book has been one of DJ's highlights this year and he highly recommends it.
