REVIEW TO 'THE MAP FROM HERE TO THERE' BY EMERY LORD

ADVERTISEMENT {REVIEW}

I received this book as a review copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. A big thank you goes here to Bloomsbury Publishing Australia.

It's senior year, and Paige Hancock is finally living her best life. She has a fun summer job, great friends, and a super charming boyfriend who totally gets her. But senior year also means big decisions. Feeling the weight of 'the rest of her life' Paige starts to panic. Everything is exactly how she always wanted it to be - how can she leave it all behind next year? In her head, she knows there is so much more to life after high school. But in her heart, is it so terrible to want everything to stay the same forever?

Emery Lord's signature storytelling shines with lovable characters and heartfelt exploration of life's most important questions. There will be break-ups, make-ups, a road trip, and even a wedding. Through it all, can Paige figure out what happens in the after part of happily ever after?

The cover of ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴀᴘ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ʜᴇʀᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ by Emery Lord is absolutely beautiful. I especially love the colour scheme but also find the overall design to be quite an eyecatcher.

The author's writing style is simply spellbinding. It is unbelievable how real this book felt. I felt like I've been thrown right back into my time at school.

The story itself is definitely a heartbreaker and full to the brim with emotions. Make sure to keep a lot of tissues at the ready when you read this book!

On a side note, I've read this book as a stand-alone, even though it is the sequel to 'The start of me and you'.

The characters are on the all too often gruesome, heartbreaking journey of finding themselves and their place in the world. I found the characters to be really tangible and reading this book was like standing right next to them - with the urge to simply hug and reassure them that it'll all be just fine.

ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴀᴘ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ʜᴇʀᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ by Emery Lord has blown my mind away, for sure. It has been a delight reading this story and I can't wait to read more of this author's works. I can absolutely recommend this book.
