The cover of the sʜᴀᴅᴏᴡ ᴀɴᴅ ʙᴏɴᴇ collector’s edition by Leigh Bardugo is absolutely stunning. The interior design and layout of this book, as well as the blue sprayed edges are eye catching and it’s been love on first sight for me!
The author’s writing style is catchy and thrilling, though the start of the story has been a bit slow in my opinion. But it’s totally worth it to keep reading and after about 50 or so pages I could barely put this book aside anymore.
The storyline is full of unexpected twists and turns and the emotions are easy to grasp. Also, the world building is absolutely unique and I quite enjoyed discovering these lands together with the protagonist.
When it comes to the characters in this book, there is so much to discover! Some are deceiving, some are naive, some are pure evil, and some are loyal to the death. But all of them have a special place in my heart. I simply adore them and can’t wait to find out more about all of them!
Sʜᴀᴅᴏᴡ ᴀɴᴅ ʙᴏɴᴇ: ᴄᴏʟʟᴇᴄᴛᴏʀ’s ᴇᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ by Leigh Bardugo has definitely been a highlight for me. Even though I had a bit of a rough start with this one, I especially loved the amazing variety of characters and the stunning world building! I can absolutely recommend this book and can’t wait for the start of the TV show!
