Half-witch, half-mortal sixteen-year-old Sabrina Spellman has made her choice: She's embraced her witchy roots, and her power is growing daily. But will it come at too high a price? It's not easy being half-mortal, half-witch. At least, not for Sabrina Spellman. She just discovered that her dad is Satan... and that it's her destiny to rule Hell. As usual, Sabrina's got other plans for her future. She's figured out a way to trap her father... but he's caged in the body of her boyfriend, Nick Scratch. Now the love of her life is stuck in Hell... with Satan stuck inside him. Sabrina knows there's a way to get Nick back while also keeping dear old dad out of commission. She just has to figure out what it is. Unfortunately, her loyal cousin Ambrose is unavailable―he's off hunting Father Blackwood, the evil former head of the Church of Night. Fortunately, Sabrina's still got her mortal friends, Roz, Harvey, and Theo. So when her aunt Zelda, now the church's high priestess, mentions an ancient quest that might help open the gates of Hell, Sabrina and her friends are all in. But Zelda failed to mention that the quest has some perils of its own...

The cover of sᴀʙʀɪɴᴀ: ᴘᴀᴛʜ ᴏғ ɴɪɢʜᴛ is as cute as the previous two in this series. I love the combination of simple colours and detailed design.
Once again, the author Sarah Rees Brennan persuaded me with her highly addictive writing style. It has been very easy for me to get back into the story and it’s definitely an easy read for in between.
The colourful mix of YA and Horror elements is very enjoyable and thrilling. For me, the story line has been a little bit predictable but I also have to admit that I’ve watched the show time and again and am pretty familiar with the characters.
Also, on a side note: You don’t have to watch the TV show upfront to understand this book, but it certainly helps to get some references in particular.
When it comes to the characters, you’ll find yourself amidst a mix of very well-known characters as well as a bunch of new ones. I found this mix of simple teens, crazy witches and warlocks, and various other creatures quite refreshing. They all show great character traits - some are good, others are nicely put simply evil incarnate. I do love every single one of them, though.
With sᴀʙʀɪɴᴀ:ᴘᴀᴛʜ ᴏғ ɴɪɢʜᴛ, the author Sarah Rees Brennan created an easy to read, yet captivating third novel in this series. I can recommend this story for sure, especially to all you witch fans!
