REVIEW TO 'RIVERDALE - THE DAY BEFORE' BY MICOL OSTOW

UNPAID ADVERTISEMENT {REVIEW}

I received this book as a review copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. A big thank you goes here to Scholastic Australia.

Based on the massively successful CW show, Riverdale, this prequel novel explores what the gang was doing before Season One. Why did Jughead and Archie have a falling out? What did Veronicas life look like in the Big Apple? And how long has Betty really been in love with Archie? Told from multiple points of view, your favorite characters tell their story their way.

This cover is gorgeous and perfectly suited to the story. I love the mix of simplicity and tiny details.

Riverdale - The Day Before' is a great read for everyone who likes the CW show because you get to know all the amazing characters from a different angle. They seem more innocent, even naive at times. The story goes way back to the very beginnings of our beloved quartet's friendship. When their lives were simpler. I like how this prequel shows the reader how it all started.

But not only that, this story is also the perfect entry for Riverdale-Newbs into this amazing world. As the great thing is, you don't have to have watched the show before reading this prequel.

Micol Ostow's writing style is captivating and while reading, I felt as if I'd been standing right next to the characters. This book is easy to read and great for in between with it's shorter chapters. The characters are authentic and easily lovable.

With 'Riverdale - The Day Before', Micol Ostow created a great entry into the world of Riverdale. I enjoyed joining Betty, Archie, Jug, and Veronica in their earliesr adventure and can absolutely recommend this story.
