The gang heads out on an epic road trip to Chicago. When Archie's too busy daydreaming to drive, Veronica takes the driver's seatnaturally. Betty wants to see the important sights and Jughead just wants to find the best diners. They're all so preoccupied that they almost miss the red pickup truck that seems to be everywhere they areat the Rock n' roll Hall of Fame, the Cedar Point amusement park, the Mall of America and the White Palace diner. A coincidence? Or could the troubles of Riverdale have followed them across state lines?

This cover resembles the story behind perfectly. It mirrors the darker setting with its dark blues and the silhouettes of the woods and characters.
It has been easy for me to get back into the story but in my opinion, you should have at least watched season 1 and maybe 2 of the CW show to understand some of the scenes. However, the author's writing style has been as great and captivating as in the first book of this series. I was barely able to put the book aside while reading.
The short chapters make this book a great read for in between and even though not everyone likes various points of view, it's easy to follow the story.
The characters are as amazing as always as their story continues. They stick together as friends and and never let each other down, no matter which fearful adventure awaits them.
Micol Ostow's 'Riverdale - Get Out Of Town' is a thrilling story with scenes you don't see in the CW show. It's been great to join the wonderful characters on one of their adventures again and I can definitely recommend this book to all you Riverdale lovers out there.
