The cover style of Mad About You by Mhairi McFarlane is quite cute, even though it blends in with so many other recent contemporary romance books.
The author’s writing style is absolutely addictive and I have devoured this book in no time. The plot itself has left me speechless and teary-eyed more than once.
Mhairi McFarlane has an incredible way to let the reader feel all the emotions. And seriously, I mean ALL the emotions. This story has it all. It is full of heartbreaking and -warming, humorous, twisted, bittersweet, scary, and romantic scenes.
The characters come across as authentic and I adore the protagonist. She is so unbelievably strong and what she does for herself and others? That takes more than a bit of strength and courage. She is full of fears, yet she is also full of love and respect. She doesn’t let the fears win.
All summed up, I fell head over heels, madly in love with Mad About You and can’t recommend it enough.
Read this story, fall in love with the twisted plot, the incredible characters, and the important message in between the lines.
