I absolutely love the cover of ᴋɪɴɢᴅᴏᴍ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡɪᴄᴋᴇᴅ by Kerri Maniscalco with all its beautiful details and colours. Especially the snake and skull are my favourite parts of it.
When it comes to the author’s writing style, it has been instant love for me. Kerri Maniscalco has captivated me with her words and I could barely put this book down. The story itself is beautifully written and spellbinding. It is very emotional, yet thrilling and mysterious. And then there is all the magic, which I absolutely loved!
The characters went straight to my heart. Especially Emilia and Wrath convinced me to love them. Emilia is incredibly courageous and curious, but she would also do whatever it takes to keep her loved ones safe and to solve the mystery in this story. Wrath is simply Wrath. I love his unknowing yet completely confident character. There is so much more to him than you expect at first.
In conclusion, ᴋɪɴɢᴅᴏᴍ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡɪᴄᴋᴇᴅ by Kerri Maniscalco has been a blast. This book has been a successful start to this series and I can’t wait to get my hands on book 2! This story is full of witty characters, an amazing writing style, and all the emotions possible. I can highly recommend this book.
