Little Miss C just finished ꜱᴛʀᴀɪɢʜᴛ ᴏɴ ᴛɪʟʟ ᴍᴏʀɴɪɴɢ by Liz Braswell. She had her ups and downs with the ᴅɪꜱɴᴇʏ - ᴀ ᴛᴡɪꜱᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴀʟᴇ collection but was really excited about reading this one as she loves the original story dearly.
The, as with all the other books in this collection, is stunning. It's simple and elegant, yet it's got some beautiful little details. Oh! And it's glittery! Well, we love it.
The author Liz Braswell really has a way of turning the original story upside down and adding some twists to the plot. Little Miss C found this book to be funny at times, emotional, and full of action and friendship. She also really enjoyed visiting some more places throughout Neverland than she was used to from the original story. With the author's detailed writing style, she easily got swooped up in the book and basically inhaled the whole thing in no time.
When it comes to the characters, C has been impressed by how different, yet absolutely likeable and relatable, they turned out to be. Especially Wendy and Tink have been her favourites and it has been refreshing to get to know them as friends instead of jealous enemies.
All summed up, Little Miss C thoroughly enjoyed ꜱᴛʀᴀɪɢʜᴛ ᴏɴ ᴛɪʟʟ ᴍᴏʀɴɪɴɢ and described it as exciting, funny, and captivating. She highly recommends it to everyone who loves Peter Pan's adventure.
