ADVERTISEMENT {REVIEW}

I received this book as a review copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. A big thank you goes here to Scholastic Australia.

What if Anna and Elsa never knew each other? As the future Queen of Arendelle, Princess Elsa's life is full of expectation and responsibility not to mention, questions. What type of ruler will she be? When will she have to pick a suitor? And why has she always harboured the feeling that some critical piece of herself is missing? Following the unexpected death of her parents, Elsa is forced to answer those questions sooner than she'd hoped, becoming the sole ruler of her kingdom and growing lonelier than ever. But when mysterious powers begin to reveal themselves, Elsa starts to remember fragments of her childhood that seem to have been erased pieces that include a very familiar-looking girl. Determined to fill the void she has always felt, Elsa must take a harrowing journey across her icy kingdom to undo a terrible curse...and find the missing Princess of Arendelle.

Little Miss C just finished ʟᴇᴛ ɪᴛ ɢᴏ by Jen Calonita. This cover is definitely one of our favourites from the ᴅɪꜱɴᴇʏ - ᴀ ᴛᴡɪꜱᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴀʟᴇ collection. It's perfect for the story with its icy colours and the tiny details.

The author's writing style has been captivating, emotional, funny, and detailed enough for C to imagine every little scene in her mind. The story takes place close enough to the original story, yet it is completely different due to the added twist. Although according to C it has been a bit foreseeable as to where the story is headed. This book is an easy read and definitely suitable for younger readers.

When it comes to the characters, the author did an amazing job. The characters came across the same way as in the movies. Though as Jen Calonita goes more into depth with the backstories of some of the characters, you feel closer to them and it gives you a deeper understanding as to where they came from. C also really liked the romance and felt it was very well worked out.

ʟᴇᴛ ɪᴛ ɢᴏ has been an absolute highlight for Little Miss C and she highly recommends this book to every Disney Frozen lover. So far, this has been her favourite of the ᴅɪꜱɴᴇʏ - ᴀ ᴛᴡɪꜱᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴀʟᴇ collection.
