Review:
The first impression of a book is of course the cover. In my opinion it is stunning beautiful and it suits the story perfectly.
The author has an amazing writing style. It's fluid, thrilling and full of emotions. There are no dull or boring scenes whatsoever and once I started reading, I couldn't lay the book down. Jamie also did a great job with the plot.
There were so many emotions, which I felt whilst reading, that it left me breathless, sobbing, heartbroken and smiling over and over again. There was happiness, friendship, fear, sadness and pure love.
And then there are the characters. Well, what should I say!? I LOVE them!!
You already got to know Colton a little bit in 'Trucker' - book #1 in 'The Good Guys' series. He is amazing. Colton has a stunning personality. He is loving, kind, stubborn, stometimes bossy, loyal and he never would let the people he loves down. Oh and did I mention, that he is hot? I mean like really, really HOT!
You will also meet Brielle. You just simply have to love her. She's beautiful, even if she isn't as self-confident as you would think due to her occupation. Bree is playful, caring, kind, selfless and absolutely lovely. She has been heartbroken as a child, then again as a teenager and she is scared that it will happen again. Out of this reason, she's pushing the love of her life away.
You want to know, if they will get a happy end? Then you should definitely join them on their journey, which is called life.
Of course you will also meet Travis, Angel and Hank again. And you will love them even more just for them being who they are.
I most definitely recommend this amazing book to everyone, who enjoys a great love story with a touch of erotic and an actual story to it. I'm already looking forward to read book #3 in this series and can't wait to get my fingers on it. Jamie is a very talented author and you won't regret reading her books.
