REVIEW TO 'CAPTAIN MARVEL HIGHER, FURTHER, FASTER'

UNPAID ADVERTISEMENT {REVIEW}

I received this book as a review copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. A big thank you goes here to Scholastic Australia.

Before she became Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers dreamt only of becoming a pilot in the airforce. Protecting her country was always her priority. In this young adult novel, read how Carol and her best friend, Maria, overcome obstacles in a male-dominated environment to achieve their dreams... and at what cost?

  • Paperback: 256 pages

  • Publisher: Scholastic Australia

  • ISBN-10: 1760663956

  • ISBN-13: 978-1760663957

The cover is simply perfect for the story and even though they're more 'girlish' colours - which he usually kind of despises - he absolutely adores it!

He really liked the reading flow as well as all of the additional insights this story gives the reader. That it is written from Carol's POV - in first person - made it very easy to read for my little Raccoon. He also enjoyed the lightness of the story itself and the easy but well worked through plot of this story. All up, this book is an easy and well enjoyable read with great, beloved characters and a great kind of humour mixed in with it all.

The only thing you need to be aware of is, that this book doesn't start out with any superpowers. So this novel is simply perfect for everyone, who wants to know a bit more about their favourite superhero's background in the early stages.

'Captain Marvel: Higher, Further, Faster' is a great addition for every lover of the Marvel-universe. My little Book Raccoon DJ absolutely loved the book and it went straight onto the pile of his most favourite books.

So as you can see, we can totally recommend this stunning book and hope you'll enjoy it as much as he did.
