Overview:
Dreams and destiny, magic and mystery, and an impossible romance that has pierced the veil and holds the power to alter worlds.
Every human being knows heartbreak – what it is to suffer.
But Lilly shouldn’t be feeling that…not anymore. Her time as a human ended long ago. She’s a Soul Guardian now, lending guidance from beyond the stars. But when she’s sent to soothe the human with the fathomless green eyes and crushed spirit, the impossible happens.
Is it fate, magic, or a power much greater that has pierced the veil between worlds and brought them face to face? A past that was locked away and forgotten is rising to the surface, stirring emotions she can’t accept or deny. Her pristine, harmonious city is becoming plagued with misfortune. A mysterious, dusty manuscript is calling to share its secrets. And Lilly is being tested by feelings so powerful that nothing can hold them back – not even time, space or death. Little does she know, that she and the green-eyed boy are spinning the threads of fate that will alter the course of worlds.

Review:
Everyone who knows me knows that I'm not too much a fan of the colour pink. With this cover though I fell straight in love!
The author's writing style is amazing. She literally trapped me in her story. The plot is very well worked through and Gabriel is writing in a highly thrilling way. You won't find any dull scenes and I wasn't able to lay the book down for one second.
Panacae is the world in which the story takes place. It's a place full of wonders and it's also stunning beautiful. Imagine a world in which everything and everyone is in harmony with each other. People, animals, the whole world are at their best without war or any other bad influence.
The protagonist - Lilly - is simply stunning. She's kind, loving, adventurous and I would definitely describe her as a wonderful personality. She does what her feeling tells her, she trusts herself and she's always helping whenever and whomever she can.
Then there is Jay. He's a suffering soul, a human who can't stand all the negative aspects in our world anymore. He loves the nature and wildlife with all his heart and he feels misunderstood from everyone.
You'll also stumble across Lilly's best friends and believe me you'll love them. I just need to cut it short at this point as I don't want to give away too much of the story.
You want to know what Jay and Lilly have in common? You want to know more about what Lilly's doing for a life? Then join the amazing characters on their huge adventure. I promise, you won't be disappointed.
I can recommend this book to everyone who loves the paranormal / dystopian genre with a touch of love and heaps of kindness. I for my part am definitely looking forward to read book 2 in this series!
