Review:
This cover, too, suits it's story perfectly. I love all the little details on it and the blue colour reminds me of the Night Court.
The author's writing style is highly detailed, thrilling, action loaded, emotional and most definitely addictive. With this book, Sarah J. Maas convinced me again, that she writes with such high dedication and lifeblood.
With 'A Court Of Mist And Fury' she created a breathtaking story, filled with plot twists and surprises. From the very first word, the author and her amazing characters held me captive. I have not been able to lay the book aside and had a very hard time to contain my feelings while reading.
There has been such a broad range of feelings, that I can't really describe them all. But there have been for sure many of them. Annoyance, hatred and wrath, gratefulness and hope, sadness and happiness, courage and fear, love and friendship. With all these feelings, the author sent me on an emotional rollercoaster. And by the end? She left me in tears!
I love ALL the characters in this book. Sarah J. Maas breathed life into all those stunning personalities.
Of course you'll meet Feyre again, as she is the protagonist of this series. I absolutely adore her. She is able to adjust, strong-willed, courageous and loves so deeply, that nobody but the ones she loves are able to break her.
And then there is Rhysand again. The High Lord of the Night Court is the most powerful and cruel High Lord, who has ever walked the earth. He find's pleasure in torturing, slaughtering and oh so slowly breaking his opponents' wills. Though is that all what he is? Is his soul really dark and his heart empty? Or is there more hidden deep, deep down beneath the surface?
Find it out by joining Feyre on this dangerous and heartbreaking adventure. Let this story carry you away into a breathtaking world full of wonders and dreams.
Where book #1 in this series has been a highlight for me, 'A Court Of Mist And Fury' is an all-time favourite and will stay in my heart forever. I will never forget this epic story because in this book, the author teaches the reader how important it is to have dreams.
This book is one of the most thrilling and emotional books I've ever read and though I have book #3 already here, I won't start it straight away. I simply don't want this story to end.
